Welcome and welcome back. While I am creating I spend less time being grumpy. It’s a blessing that’s easy to accept. Even as I smash these words, I am simply happy to be here. I recall saying something about sharing my favorite quotations. I called it MFQ. “A writer merely starts a book. The reader finishes it.” - Samuel Johnson A quick online search about that quote indicates that someone else may have said it first. And I don’t mind. I’m not getting a commission from the Samuel Johnson club. It’s more than writers and readers. It’s also artists and collectors, rock stars and audience. It’s the ball club and the fans. Creators. Consumers. This quotation spoke to me about any teeny, tiny tendency I have towards perfectionism. Put it out. Let it go. Move it along. And .. speaking of which …. Thanks for popping in. Stay warm.
