 Stand up art on scored and folded 140# Canson. I call them Trifles. They mail in an A2 envelope. I’m expanding my new Daniel Smith Essentials into a Mijello Fusion as well as a John Pike Big Well palette.

Trifles Saturday 060620

Trifles are love notes painted on 5.5 x 8.5" card, accordion folded to fit into an A2 envelope and mailed via the postal system. They will stand on their own in a W shape. Temporary art requiring only a little shelf or desk space and no frame.

Trifles

The point of a Trifle is that it fits in an A2 envelope and is folded to stand after it arrives.

The recipient can keep the art for awhile on a desk, shelf, countertop, etc. No need for a frame.

Trifle is a synonym for love note. Sweet and simple.

These are cards made with watercolor wash and markers on 117# Strathmore Mixed Media, 5.5 x 8.5 folded in half and half, meant to travel in an A2 envelope and standup on the fridge, table, shelf, counter, etc. A card not mean to go back in the envelope. I call them Trifles. Yes, I send them postal. The basic message? Ho-Oponopono: I'm sorry. Forgive me. Thank you. I love you.
