Your Recent Red Roses I saved the photo you shared of your recent red roses. Beautiful they are. Happy for you. And also in that photo standing in the background, on top of your bookshelf, a flower doodle I made for you. I share a secret surprise: this temporary art installation has no digital presence other than here in the photo you shared. Thankfully not front and center, it’s more uplifting than I may say, that you included it, me, us with your recent red roses …. David L White Zoupa Musings is free today. Each Time
EACH TIME each time i vacuum the carpet you gave me when we were us i thank you again for its beauty there strategically beneath the glass table top no poker game or dinner party has ever seen. unlike my feelings pentimento under my good humor exterior nothing is hidden here anyone with a keen eye, like television detectives knowing the script, would spot before i'm finished, awaiting visitors, like our love, who will never return to finish the meal turned cold, politely complimenting the wine aged, so unlike myself, to perfection. 6/18/23 p.j. rockwell Poem Zoupa Musings is free today. Shock Therapy
While Shock Therapy acts as a working title, I mean to indicate a brief blending of body and brain. The shock of this therapy is that the talk is tightly focused solely on up-level words of joy, exuberance, and passion, in order to boost the biochemical blossoms of dopamine, serotonin, and oxytocin. We are not going to talk about what’s wrong or how things could be better. We’re not even going to complain about the weather. I recommend a short session. You will need to bring your own joy. Bragging not required. You are not entertaining me. You are reaching for your best self. Sincerity is helpful. I will encourage you. Your prep for such a session requires you to find your joy and give it keywords that will prompt you into your passionate space. Rehearsing will be helpful. Rehearsing will help you even if you don’t talk to anybody out loud. However, there is something about your own voice and the auditory processing that is quite valuable. You may experience coming alive when you feel yourself speak in such a fashion. Eureka moments are not uncommon. Your results may vary. We will start with a few brief exercises; a minute of here now grounding. The 54321 check-in may help. A minute of joy breath, which is simply breathing slowly and deeply, while remembering moments of joy in your experience. A minute of hum and yum for the vocal cords. We’ll set a timer for a couple minutes. Away we go. Finding your own joy. Wonderful. Speaking it out loud? Amazing! The preparation alone can deliver great value whether you and I ever have this chat. David L White 414-282-7185 Appointments at: davidlwhite.setmore.com … Zoupa Musings is free today.
