In the good old days, before Facebook, I had my own newsletter for 20 years. Play The Knews was part travelogue - road trips with imaginary friends, recipes, book non-reviews, quotations, cartoons, satire, fake ads, fictional institutions, usually a poem or two or mine, art, simply life observations, and commentary. And, it was practice with desktop publishing software for my print shop. Somehow, after Facebook came along, and the print shop passed away, I began consuming too much of other people’s stuff.
