We started out at the Sprecher Brewing company holding the annual Root Beer Flotilla and ended up in Port Washington 30 minutes north of MKE.
Lake. Quiet. Lots of parks. Food. Quirky shops - in case someday we’re willing to shop.
We were out 5 hours. So far from normal. Wonderful.
Neither one of us could think of any spot along the MKE lakefront that was so peaceful.
The real beauty was the lack of crowds. We took books, note paper, paints - didn't do any of it. Just sat and blissed out.
We’re going back. Time away. Desperately needed.
