Welcome and welcome back. While I am creating I spend less time being grumpy. It’s a blessing that’s easy to accept. Even as I smash these words, I am simply happy to be here. Puffy Caldera. Amazing. Ancient Africa waking up. Geomagnetic anomalies. Ring of fire on fire. Solar flares, pretty lights, and the higher potential for vaporizing our web of satellites. Okay. Okay. Maybe not vaporizing … but frying the boards … same same. Just wait for the Taurid Meteor Extravaganza - not seen in these parts for 12,000 years. And whatever happened with the incoming 3i/Atlas space thingie? Oh, and the discoveries. New new. Old new. Exciting. Finland building data centers under cities to help with warmth. Japan beaming solar down to collectors. So many new inventions that help people … if only we could help people. Ya know, we are more profitable when we’re well cared for. imo. And so much new exciting more more more. Meanwhile, our 32 year Thanksgiving tradition came to an end in 2025 with the threat of big weather on the way home. We would always, almost always, drive on Thursday and eat on Friday. My brother’s in-laws got the Thursday. They had Youngers. Here we are. We stayed home Thursday and wondering why, oh Lord, are we watching that garish spectacle of capitalist pig wallowing, that ‘we’ have come to know and love at the The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. How many team leaders did not get the memo on the color green for this year? I might have lasted 17 or 23 minutes. Lord help us. When do the Packers / Lions kickoff? Lord help us. More. We ordered Thanksgiving dinner for two from Sendik’s Grocery. Yummy enough. Leftovers aplenty. … And, we crank the traditional singalong …. Sing it with me. Jump in any time. My ability to focus has been, very lately, and greatly, reduced. My ophthalmologist is surprised at the quickening thickening. He recommends surgery, maybe not quite yet … .. oh really? High rate of success and my first question is who is measuring what to get those ‘high’ success numbers? In simple English, please. I do not read as much. I notice the wrinkle editing these lines on the laptop. It is more intense in traffic. Speed and distance are a factor. More on that and all this … later.
