One of my favorite old Chinese quotations. "Don't believe what they say. Go see."
I edited it ... of course. "Believe or don't believe. Go see anyway."

I may never have this gigahug deal figured out. To focus more often on up- level energy by simply remembering the terminology; wonder, joy, exuberance, love love love. 

Yes. I know. Life's a bitch and tomorrow's another day. Yet, here and now, while there is no joy all the time, as I write these words, there is no evil in my house. But there is plenty of room for practicing balance. Now; the micro-momentary present is what we have to play with. Let's play.

This feels like bumper sticker oversimplification. We start where we are.

Anyway, send prayers, as gifts, to the living biosphere around the bench. It can act as a stopping point to give and receive. It's a good place to admire the lake, too.

The gift is in the giving. There are prayers here waiting for you. Because I said so.

By GigaHug I mean to share energy briefly;
clothed, seated, or standing, probably in public or small group.

Hugs are said to deliver oxytocin in 20 to 30 seconds, or
three to five deep, gentle breaths. I think it probably
works best for those folks up for it. It's not a challenge
or a demand for proof. If you're ready ....

Guided Hug Meditation

I’d like to share two minutes with you… We are collecting three memories to share 
over three breaths or a minute - whatever feels best.
You are safe and sound in the here and now, yes?

Wonderful. Relax. Feel your breath. // Feel your chest rise and fall. 
Let your shoulders drop.// Bring to mind a time of great joy.
Smile at the memory.// Smiling, feel your eyebrows and forehead loosen. Relax.
If you feel safe you may close your eyes if you wish. 
To your memory of joy add a time of awesome wonder or beauty.

Gentle breath.

And Love. Remember love? Remember great love? Oh, my my.
Deep and gentle, we are going to take three full breaths in and out.
Pull your tummy at the end of exhale for more room to inhale. 
At the peak of inhalation, remember the joy, the wonder, and the love.

Exhaling, one at a time, let the memory melt down slowly throughout your entire body.
Three wonderful memories shared over three breaths.
I am done talking now for a minute. 

Let's begin.

    I also heard that if you hug someone for 40+ seconds, your heart beats sync up and breathing. Correct me if I'm wrong on this!
