I’d be thrilled if it’s not
too much trouble to
stash me a tablespoon
of sand.
And, I know, it might
already be too late
to ask.
Mind you, I do NOT
ask for the dunes.
Perhaps what’s
in your shoe,
certainly
will
do.
Hotel parking lot sand
is also fine. Airport.
Whatever, too, of course.
It’s for a poem.
